This still life is meaningful because after years of being in an awful relationship which finally dissolved, I discovered true love in a new relationship. It is truly a night and day difference! The champagne glass and flower arrangement are tokens from our wedding. The bird and candle remind me of beauty coming from ashes. The clock reflecting in the mirror conjures a feeling of limited time to love and make the most of our days.
